What to leave in and what to leave out?

The power of music is immense. As a producer and engineer it is my goal to act as a guide to the creativity of the artist and to help unleash that power. As an arranger, with an extensive background in percussion, guitar, vocalization and art I approach recording as an adventure that will enhance the natural quality and meaning of the music. Recording should be fun! Vocals are kept in the foreground, supported by acoustic instruments and very natural backgrounds. Arrangements, I feel, should always act as a wave to carry the lyrics and voices in a song.
As a father, husband, and business manager I have developed sensitivity to feelings and human nature, both integral parts of the creative process. Sharing knowledge and information bring me great joy!

Consultation, Production, Co-writing and Licensing, and Artist Development.
Rates are $50 per hour for consultation and recording
Personal songs for any occasion     
$750 per song and includes a CD recording of the song
Producing is $500 per song arrangement .

Consultation for out sourcing studios and musicians available   
Studio work on guitar, keyboard or vocals is $100 per song
Programming Drums is $100 per song
Overdubs $50 per hour
Tapes transferred to CD and mastered: $50

Rates are negotiable for special projects and charities.
